The shoes are a bit snugger then I like, but I'm hoping that they'll stretch out with use. I usually wear an 8.5 in dress shoes, but these shoes were only available in whole sizes, so I rounded down to an 8. I'm not sure how a 9 would have fit, but with my luck they probably would have been too loose. There is no arch support in the shoes, so if that is an issue for you, I would pass on these. They also don't offer a lot of traction, so walk carefully on slick surfaces.



The shoes were shipped in a gray bag. The shipper was not kind to it (which is not unexpected). The shoeboex for this pair of shoes (and another from a different company) were placed in the bag without any cushioning or securing of the tops to the boxes. Naturally, there were holes in the bag, both tops came off the boxes and things fell out (I don't think anything fell out the bag, but it's possible that some of the packing materials from the boxes did). The boxes were all but crushed (the sticks that help the shoes hold their shape were bent 30° due to the forces exerted upon them) because there was nothing in the bag to protect the boxes. The sides of the shoes bent in odd ways, but seem to be straightening out with use. Fortunately, the suede of the shoes was not damaged. I would recommend that the company change the packaging for their shipments to prevent damage to the shoes before they are received by customers.
