Half size bigger taken as I have wide feet (9) that aspect of the fit worked well. however now I am wearing them to actually walk anywhere I realize the heel strap does not provide support let alone the support I had hope. the elastic has not grip so it slides about; buy a fitflop design with a valcro heel adjust strap if you wish your foot to not slip about for comfort/ gait support.
