I bought these boots in the Champagne color late October and it's now early December. First of all, I do love these boots. They're super cute, great with leggings & a tunic length sweater or shirt. Plus they're very comfy on my feet even though I'm currently 7 months pregnant. I did use a water protectant on them as soon as I got them to help protect them during our wet snowy Wisconsin winters. All of that said, just this week I noticed that the sole near the toes was coming undone on one of my boots. :( Very disappointed in the quality of these boots. Not sure if I got a fluke pair or what but I plan to contact BEARPAW to inform them of this issue. I'm wondering if a subpar glue was used or something.... The sole shouldn't be coming undone already. They're not even 2 months old! I don't hike in them, am not rough with them, am not doing any crazy activity while wearing them, etc - I strictly wear them running simple errands, grocery shopping, etc. Not sure if others have had this issue or not but be aware that it's possible it could happen to your pair, too. Other than that - and having the sole come undone is an issue to me - these boots are awesome. Hopefully BEARPAW will stand behind their product & help right this situation with me once I contact them.



EDIT: I gave these boots another star because of Bear Paw's AWESOME customer service!! I contacted them, sent them a picture of where the sole was coming apart after only 2 months and they sent me a pair new pairs of boots without me having to spend one extra penny to even ship the old pair back to them. You just don't get that kind of customer service very often these days. I'll always look to Bear Paw's shoes first in the future when I'm in the market for a new pair of boots!



Also, I found these boots to be very true to size. I wear a size 7, got these boots in a size 7 and they fit perfectly. I can wear them with thin ankle socks or even my thicker Smartwool socks on super cold days. These come up to mid-calf (so not knee-high) on me and I'm 5'4.

I've always wondered why people buy pricey athletic shoes. From outward appearances they look deceptively similar. After I bought these I understand why. Not a runner, I bought these because I have nerve damage to my feet, & they were available in a wide width. I also spend a lot of time on concrete floors(school). By the end of any work day I'm in misery. Seriously, this shoe I don't want to take off even when I arrive home. Best investment I've made in a shoe. I may even start running! Oh, and did I mention that I've received so many compliments on these shoes?

First off I just want to say I just ordered these on friday(before 5pm btw) and recieved them TODAY!(monday)!!.. I accidently ordered 2 and emailed them regarding a return or refund.. They got back to me so quickly that they fixed the error same day!!! Now for the shoe review.. as soon as I saw them in the box I fell in love with the color (it is a tad lighter but so cute!).. I fell even more in love with how they fit! I wear a 6 normally and I read that you should order a half size up.. DO IT! It fits perfectly, not snug.. just perfect! Enough room so your toes dont bunch up the front when youre walking in them.. They have a comfortable feel and I love the zipper in the back! Makes it so easy to slip on and off. Definitely a great buy!!

I have these boots in brown and am ordering a pair of black!! They are VERY comfortable, soft, and look cute with a skirt and tights. Well made AND waterproof...what more could you ask for :-)? Merell is a brand I consistently have good luck with. I have thin orthotic inserts that I slip into the boots and I'm good to go (I need that extra support, though these boots have decent support without the inserts)

Today I wore them indoors all day (tights and skirt) and noticed I was a bit warmer than usual, so in the winter i might bring shoes to work to change into but for outdoor recess (I'm a teacher) these will be perfect and keep my legs and feet warm. I'm so excited to have found something so perfect!! I know I'll be wearing them for years to come!!!

I ordered my usual 7.5 and they foot bed fit perfectly and was very comfy. Sadly I could not zip the boots up more than 5 inches - my calves are 14 inches at the widest part. The top of the boot was very wide and I could pull the two sides of the zipper together on the top and still see a big gap, it was the middle section that was impossible. So sad because I love the color, texture, and style so much.

Great boots. Buy these, not the Ugg sweater cardy's



For comparison: I own 2 pairs of UGG boots, the Costco copycats, and now these. The quality of these meets and/or exceeds that of the original UGG boots. As the reviewer above stated, the soles are solid. There is not a lot of structure to this boot style- there is the sole and the back ankle suede to give it some shape, but other than that- it is very much like a sock attached to a sole. I think this boot is great for around the house and casual wear.



Sizing: They definitely run small. I am a 6.5/7 shoe and the size 7 has my toe rubbing tip of the boot. If Amazon allowed for reinstatement of promo offers, I would have sized up. Since they do not, I will hope that the fur lining settles down like other shearling boots. I have skinny calves and often have a hard time finding boots with a calf circumference small enough- while these are still loose, they stay up enough to achieve the slouchy look.



Comfort: soft footbed. Has as much padding as standard UGG boots (that is to say- not much beyond the fur). No arch support. Initially the suede ankle cup on one of them curved in and cut into my ankle, but after taming the sharp edge with a nail-file it has stopped doing that. For keeping warm- probably not in the wind, there is not much in the way of lining- I do not consider this to be an all-weather boot by any means.



*update* 1 month later. Boots have stretched and now feel loose. After 2 days of wear, 1 set of buttons at the top fell off. Still comfortable, but long lasting quality on this style is definitely questionable. I have dropped the rating from 4 stars to 2. It is unacceptable that the knit of the boot stretches so much that it flops around and does not fit anymore.

These are now my go-to boots. Bootcut jeans can be squished into them when you're in a hurry, leggings, you name it. I bought the chestnut brown for the discounted price and love the color as they match just about everything I own. These boots are very comfortable, however, they do fit loose around the ankle and I notice my heel slips up in them, so I probably could have ordered a half-size smaller, but it doesn't bother me enough to exchange. I printed out sketchers size guide and it put me at a 10, which is what I wear in most shoes; I ordered a 9 1/2 and feel a 9 would have also worked well. I will probably need to use some scotch guard on them as the toe is already getting scuffed having only worn them out three times. I recommend these to anyone who is looking for the comfort of Ugg style boots, and what's nice is they don't have the frumpy "slipper" look of some of the cheaper knock-offs. Ladies have commented on them every time I've worn them out, so apparently it's a thumbs up all around.

I have been trying different slippers out to help relieve my plantar fasciitis pain and this one is my favorite. It fits tight to the foot, but comfortably so. It has a nice sole with thick cushioning that allows me to walk without much pain. I have had no problem with slipping in them. The only thing is the cushion effect does wear out fairly quickly, so I can see having to replace these every other month or so if dealing with plantar fasciitis when you need the cushioning, but just as a regular house slipper they should be fine. Easy to wash too.



*Update*

I liked these so much that I didn't want to be without them when washing them (because they have to air dry) so I ordered another pair (the white) and that pair fell apart within a week on the inner sole of both slippers. So I am dropping them a star because there appears to be an inconsistency in quality.

*Second Update*

The first pair that I bought only last month has now started detaching from the sole and falling apart. So it appears the sole on these Isotoner Clog slippers are of poor quality.

I need a large toe box, room for an orthotic insert, and prefer not to have my feet look like a large, flat state - like Iowa or something. These work perfectly, and they don't scream 'Little Old Lady' either. I've used Sauconys for years because of the extra cushion in the heel. These appear to be very well made, as I would expect, and are a very good value at this price point. I highly recommend these.

I'm pretty new to dress shoes so I can't comment on the looks other than I liked them. Unfortunately the fit was pretty off. I'm an 8.5 or a 9 in most casual shoes, a 9 in running shoes. It felt a bit long for a 9, and also too narrow, more like a C or B width. Either that or the last wasn't curved enough. There was an uncomfortable rubbing along the sides of the ball of my foot.



I got a 9D, but am probably an 8.5/3E in their size. Unfortunately they're totally out of stock in that so I'm going to have to look elsewhere.

The shoe itself is comfortable but the heel is slightly raised which defeats the purpose of why I bought this. I live on a top floor and have hardwood floors, so I wanted a shoe with a sole that has a good grip but quiet. Because of the heel, it makes noises like I'm walking in high heels so I rarely wear them. Other than that, they are nice but I wouldn't recommend if you're looking for a quiet slipper, like I was.

These boots are well made and comfortable; comparable to Uggs. I bought them on a lightening deal for $46 - a steal. Amazon regular price at $65 is also a good deal. The reason I can't give them a five star rating is that they run a full size too small. My daughter wears a size nine. I ordered these in a size nine for her, but they are way too small on her. I wear a size eight, and these size nine boots fit me perfectly. So either I got a pair that is mis marked, or these boots run really small. My daughter can't use them, but I can. I will keep them because they are quality made and the lightening deal price is too good to pass up.

I like these slippers overall. My only reservation is that I thought they had a small heel. I have bone spurs, and my doctor has recommended a low heel to alleviate pain. So I thought these would be great! But the sole curves up around the outside of the foot, and the slipper is essentially flat. Other than that, they are great! Soft and warm.

I just received my Chocolate Bearpaws. After reading some reviews, I was a little nervous about the size. I take a size 8 but in some cuts of shoe or boot I can take an 8.5. I ordered a size 8 and they fit perfectly! My feet were in heaven as soon as I put them on. I truly cannot tell the difference between these and the Uggs. Someone commented that there was no sheepskin fur on the insole where your foot rests. There sure is and it feels great. If I had gone a size up, which for me would have been a 9, it definitely would have been way too big. These fit the same as the Uggs, at least for me. Color was true to pic. I can't see spending a whole lot of extra money when these are just as good. Also, someone said that the other brands are made in Australia and Bearpaws is made in China. You better take a look again. They are ALL made in China. None of them are made in Australia! Some said that the outer skin of the others is sheepskin while Bearpaw if Cow leather. Well, yes, Bearpaw exterior is "Suede", not sheepskin. But "Suede" is more durable, in my opinion. Both are delicate materials. However, again read labels carefully on other known brands. They all say "Leather upper"....."sheepskin lining". None of them say "sheepskin upper" so I don't know. I have a feeling they are all the same. Bearpaw does make a fake suede and fake fur at a much lesser price. These (Emma short) is the real deal. I can't wait to sink my feet in these when the weather gets colder. My friend's "Bearpaws" held up better for her than her more expensive brand. For the money, this can't be beat. And remember, for all suede and sheepskin, you need to waterproof and stainproof them before using them in rain and snow. None of these brands claim to be waterproof or stainproof. They are suede in nature, after all. So you need to be careful. I will update again once I've gotten through the winter with them to let you all know how they held up. I will not be wearing them every day at the exclusion of all other shoes and boots so I plan to enjoy these for many years to come! Stitching and seaming seem to be the same as other brands as well. Can't go wrong for the money! Came quickly. Packaging was great. Got mine directly through Amazon, not third party merchant. Sometimes that can make a difference. When dealing directly with Amazon, I have never had a problem.
